Barb Henning

BarbBarbara Henning is a longtime resident of Fort McMurray. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Barb has always had a passion for fitness. While studying to become a teacher at U of A, she competed on the varsity swim team. After graduating, Barb coached master’s swimming, triathlon, and age-group swimming both in Edmonton and here in Fort McMurray. She obtained her AFLCA fitness leader certification and taught fitness as well.

Barb had the honor of receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award, while teaching school in Fort McMurray. Some of our clients remember the fun classroom of Miss Henning. As well as working and raising a family, Barb also volunteered extensively with the community. She organized Jump Rope for Heart, coached various sports teams, and organized the youth triathlon for three years.

Barb has chosen to channel her energy and passion into helping her community at large. While teaching fitness classes, she was aware that her clients needed to address other lifestyle issues. She discovered the Ideal Protein Weight loss system, which was hugely successful in helping her clients achieve their wellness goals. Layering the foundations of fitness with weight loss, massage therapy, and esthetics, Barb has developed a comprehensive wellness program.

Jeanne Crandall - Nutritional, Fitness and Weight loss Coach

Since coming to us in 2011, Jeanne Crandall has empowered and coached many Wood Buffalo residents to with their wellness goals. Jeanne moved to Fort McMurray in 2007 from Peace River, Alberta. She has many interests including: dance, fitness and painting. If each of Jeanne’s passions, interests and jobs were layered into a cake, it would feed our entire region.

In relation to health and wellness she is a certified AFLCA group instructor and the only certified Essentrics and Bellyfit instructor in Fort McMurray. She has her Level 4 training in the Ideal Protein weight loss protocol and is certified in BIA body analysis as well as advanced metabolic testing. She uses her creative and artistic background to craft nutritional and tailor made food and fitness programs for clients. Above all Jeanne’s passion for seeking clarity and solving problems makes her a valuable member of not only our community but also Layer’s team!

Lisa Dreger - Ideal Protein Weight Loss Coach

Lisa Dreger is Layer’s Champion of our Ideal Protein weight loss protocol. She comes to us from Vancouver Island, bringing Layers Spa her passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals.

She is not only a certified level 4 Ideal Protein weight loss coach, she has also completed her training in the body analyzer as well as certified in advanced metabolic testing. Lisa is a compassionate and encouraging coach, who helps her clients achieve their goals. Lisa’s tireless energy and commitment to a client’s personal success embodies Layers mantra of getting to the “ heart of the matter!”

Tammy Head - Ideal Protein Weight loss Specialist

Tammy has been a resident of Fort McMurray for 10 years coming to us from Newfoundland. With 7 years experience in the service industry, Tammy uses her excellent customer service skills to provide her clientele with an exceptional experience. Since joining Layers in 2013 she has become a certified weight loss coach.

She is also trained in advanced metabolic testing as well as body analysis. Tammy’s unique journey with her own personal weight loss has deepened her understanding of our client’s own paths to better health and wellness. She is able to share her personal experience’s to help each client reach their goals. Layering her training with her ability to listen and provide feedback that helps in a client’s growth makes her a compassionate and empowering coach.

The Method

There are four phases in the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol. During all four Phases you will receive one-on-one coaching, teaching you how your body gains weight and what you should be eating in order to maintain a balanced weight.
